Scenic accommodations

Would you prefer to stay at the edge of the forest, somewhere a little more open or with a view of the lake? There are cottages and a hostel for those who do not bring their own accommodation. The campsite is close to everything that Dalsland has to offer. There are lovely outdoor areas and a dedicated bay for dog swimming where the family's four-legged members are always welcome.

Arrangements for children and adults

There are many different activities for the entire family at Laxsjöns Camping & Friluftsgård. Play football on the illuminated football pitch, play mini golf, go swimming or jump on the giant trampoline. Thanks to its unique location in the middle of the lake system and Dalsland Canal, Laxsjöns Camping & Friluftsgård is also able offer one of Europe’s  best canoeing and fishing waters. A cruise on the lake in a rented canoe or boat is a great experience for the family.

There are so many possibilities. You have the Aqueduct in Håverud, rock carvings, Åmål trotting track, Baldersnäs manor, Dalslands Aktiviteter, beautiful motorcycle roads, exhibitions and many other activities in the area around Laxsjöns Camping & Friluftsgård.

At Dalslands Aktiviteter, there are plenty of activities. Here you can experience the high ropes course, do archery, and visit the moose in the enclosure – and then some! And don´t forget to visit the game shop for some local delicacies.
