Stay the night by the Dalsland Canal and try paddling a canoe

This campsite is beautifully situated between the lakes of Lelången and Ärtingen, halfway along the Dalsland Canal in West Sweden. Being so close to the canal means that you can go on week-long tours by canoe, without needing to take the same route back. You can rent canoes, kayaks and equipment at the camp site. If you prefer to stay on land, rent a bike and explore the countryside along the canal.

Adventures all year round

There is loads to do here in the summer. As well as the campsite’s options of walking, cycling and canoeing, there is a lovely sandy beach with diving towers where you can while away the warm summer days. If you come during the winter you can go cross-country skiing on well-kept tracks, go ice-skating or do some winter fishing.
