Mountain bike or gravel bike tour that leads in a varied landscape on beautiful dirt roads around Lake Ärtingen. You will pass nice landscapes, forests, lakes and small ponds on this route with some challenging meters of altitude along the route.

From the starting point, the Tourist information office in Bengtsfors, you follow the gravel path "Gamla järnvägen" to Billingsfors. This route is partially closed to car traffic and is a popular way for cyclists, runners, etc. You cycle through parts of Billingsfors before arriving on the Lammtjärnsvägen path, which you follow a few kilometers over gravel roads before you come to an asphalt road that you turn right. Follow the asphalt road for about 5 km. The road is hilly with sharp curves surrounded by pine forest. After a few kilometers, the lake Ärtingen is on the right. Follow the asphalt road to Kasen. There the asphalt road leads sharply to the right - you drive straight on a gravel road. This leads through forests and past small farms.

A map is recommended, as several fork in the road with shorter sections of asphalt are now used. After Myren you follow the narrow gravel road, which is completely car-free around Dåvershögen. At the Ed / Nössemark / Bengtsfors junction, follow the sign back to Bengtsfors. After approx. 4 km you will reach Dalslands Camping, cycling from the campsite over the Greaberget hill to avoid the traffic. This dirt road takes you back to the center of Bengtsfors, past the Folkparken.
