The parsonage in Edsleskog
Edsleskog

The author, historian and academic Anders Fryxell grew up here

The main building is the former parsonage in Edsleskog and it was built in the middle of the 19th century. The east wing, called Fryxellsflygeln, was built in the end of the 18th century.

There are three buildings here - the main building and its two wings. The main building is the former parsonage in Edsleskog and it was built in the middle of the 19th century. The east wing, called Fryxellsflygeln, was built in the end of the 18th century. Today this wing is used as a local heritage museum where the interior from the 18th century is preserved. The west wing was built in the 1870's.

The author, historian and academic Anders Fryxell grew up here.

Of these three buildings it is only the east wing Fryxellsflygeln you can visit.
