1. Backlunds Bakery, Bistro, and Bar The staff at Backlunds serves breakfast, homemade bread, cakes, pastries, large tasty cinnamon buns, and sandwiches. 5. Saturday Fika at Laholmen On Saturday mornings during the autumn and winter, starting at 11 AM, the lounge at Scandic Laholmen transforms into a fika spot. 8. Alaska Stone and Visitor Garden on Nord Långö On Nord Långö in Strömstad’s archipelago lies Alaska, a site created in the late 1920s by 60-year-old Hilma Svedahl (1870–1965). There’s a cozy café offering coffee, waffles, homemade treats, Alaska beer, delightful shrimp sandwiches, and refreshing ice cream.
