Stay and dine in a magnificent manor environment

You will have a luxurious stay at the manor Baldersnäs Herrgård, located on a lush peninsula beside Laxsjön. The earlier owner of Baldersnäs, Carl Fredrik Waern, had a passionate interest in English parks that has had a very clear influence on the land surrounding the manor. Staying in the manor building, one of its wings, the annex or the newly built cottages, you can dream to the sounds of nature drifting in through your open window.

Peaceful accommodation

The rooms in the manor building are beautifully furnished, some with furniture from the turn of the century, and with views over the verdant park. While staying in one of the cosy wings there is access from these rooms onto a shared balcony with views of Laxsjön and the surrounding meadows. The annex will suit those who prefer to be more secluded.

Indulge yourself!

After a lovely walk in the lush green park you can relax in the Spa at the manor. Start with a sauna and then take an invigorating dip in Laxsjön. Afterwards you can relax in one of the manor’s massage chairs. Finally you can sink down into the warmth of the wood-fired hot tub, complete with views over the meadows.

Recommended restaurant

When you are starting to get hungry towards the evening, just sit down and relax at a stylish dining table with views of the park and look forward to being served local specialities prepared with seasonal ingredients. The restaurant is part of the network A taste of West Sweden. The network gathers restaurants and cafes that, in close collaboration with local producers, offer West Swedish culinary experiences based on seasonal and local ingredients.
