NO LIMIT STREET ART is an unmissable part of the townscape, and it all started with No Limit, which is a large scale wall art festival. The legacy of the festivals can now be explored in the town centre all year round – around 40 murals and numerous street art installations.

BORÅS ART BIENNIAL 2024 takes place between 15 June and 15 September, and is the eighth incarnation of this international art biennale. This year’s theme, Layers, Loops, Lines explores time, space and place. Visitors can experience magnificent and thought-provoking contemporary art in Borås Konstmuseum and around the town’s public spaces.

At BORÅS KONSTMUSEUM you can explore three floors of modern contemporary art. Join a guided tour or take the children to a creative workshop with hands-on activities. Workshops, film showings, museum lectures and holiday activities are all arranged here.

TEXTILMUSEET is the Nordic countries’ leading textile museum. Check out the exhibitions, workshops, tours and other activities, all with a focus on fashion, textiles, design, art, the textile industry and innovative textiles. The museum provides an always fascinating range of textile related exhibitions and activities.

ABECITA POPKONST & FOTO exhibits world class graphic art and photography in a building that used to be Borås’s corset factory. You don’t need any prior knowledge or requirement to “get art” to enjoy works by Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Louise Bourgeois and Roy Lichtenstein, to name a few.
